MA (Cantab), ARCM (PG), MA Music Therapy, Diploma in Music Imagery Therapy (MIT)
My practice as a therapist has been shaped by my experience as a talented, creative musician, and through my deep ongoing engagement with psychotherapeutic and psychological thinking.
Each client for me presents an invitation to find a new way to unlock creative potential and connect with the core self of each individual through using music. I love being part of this process, using sound to effect change and positive growth. I am seen as an imaginative, empathic practitioner using a wide range of therapeutic techniques and clinical approaches to meet the needs of each individual.
I have chosen to work in a freelance capacity as this allows me to work directly with families and referrers. I believe this offers the highest quality therapy, tailored to each individual client.
I am experienced in using MIT (Supportive and Re-educative Music imagery Therapy) as a powerful method to support adults and young people - online or in person.
